Nobody ever called Harper Reed boring. Indeed, on his own website, Harper Reed calls himself “Probably one of the coolest guys ever.”

Wikipedia says: “Harper Reed is an American entrepreneur and Head of Commerce at Braintree, a subsidiary of PayPal. In 2011, he served as Chief Technology Officer for Barack Obama’s 2012 re-election campaign.”

Last month at HEDNA (Hotel Electronic Distribution Network Association) conference in Austin, the serial data geek was keynoter. Harper Reed spoke to attendees on the topic “Big Data is B.S.”  Here’s what he told them.
