Travel industry veteran David West has joined the Libris sales team as Director of Travel Solutions. He brings experience in destination marketing from Bucks County Conference and Visitor Bureau, Pocono Mountains Visitor Bureau, and as V.P. of Travel for Michigan Economic Development Corporation, where he oversaw the Pure Michigan tourism campaign.
West has taught marketing and hospitality at Temple University School of Tourism and Hospitality Management and at Drexel University School of Business. In 2011, he was named one of the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International’s Top 25 Extraordinary Minds in Sales and Marketing.

Tom Noonan, current head of Visit Baltimore, will take over as president and CEO of Austin Convention and Visitors Bureau effective May 6. Noonan has been with Visit Baltimore since 2007 and previously spent 18 years with the Dallas Convention and Visitors Bureau as a sales, services and convention marketing executive.
Noonan replaces outgoing president Bob Lander, who will retire this summer. In Baltimore, Ron Melton, Visit Baltimore’s COO, will serve as interim CEO while a national search is conducted.
