A private Cape Breton website hosted by a local radio personality, “Cape Breton If Donald Trump Wins,” with a link to the official tourism website, produced 1.5 million hits. Tourism went up three-fold, accommodation gained 30 percent occupancy, the tourism board increased staffing levels.
