Featuring people of different ethnic backgrounds, the message is clear in Discover LA‘s new “Everyone is Welcome” video. Rolled out on Facebook and Twitter, the minute-and-a-half music video is meant to appear in social media feeds in Canada, Mexico, China, Britain and Australia. It closes by displaying the words: “We welcome everyone” in several languages.
In a bid to counter exclusionary policies coming out of the White House, Don Skeoch, CMO of Discover Los Angeles, told Adweek, “We felt compelled that we had to do something about this to try and mitigate these losses.”
