Visit Sweden is on a roll. Last year’s innovative “The Swedish Number” campaign grabbed worldwide attention and captured a top prize for agency Ingo Stockholm at the Cannes Lions Festival. The Swedish Tourist Association‘s latest campaign is a first-ever partnership with Airbnb that positions the entire country, all 100 million acres, as a hosted accommodation listing.

Visit Sweden worked with agency Forsman & Bodenfors. According to Jenny Kaiser, president of Visit Sweden’s US office, the arrangement between Visit Sweden and Airbnb wasn’t a paid placement. “As the initiative is a pure branding campaign for Sweden as a destination, the partnership is strategic for both parties and no payment has been done from/to either side,” Kaiser told Fast Company.
