Jessica Welch has been appointed as the new director of the Delaware Tourism Office. She had been communications director of the state’s Division of Small Business. Welch succeeds Elizabeth Keller who left the office in July to lead the Committee of 100, a nonprofit association of Delaware business leaders.
Choose Chicago has appointed Isaac Reichman as Director of Corporate Communications. His public information and advisory experience includes various roles within city departments.
Ashleigh Bachert takes on a new role as Vice President Tourism Operations at Tulsa Regional Tourism / Visit Tulsa. She joined the team in 2020 following three years’ service as Executive Director of Durham Sports Commission in North Carolina.
Dalissa Zeda-Sánchez has been promoted to Director of Digital Marketing at Discover Puerto Rico. She joined the organization in 2018.
Lindsey (Guinn) Stevens has been promoted to Vice President of Marketing Communications at Monterey County Convention & Visitors Bureau. She joined the bureau in January 2021 from Visit California where she had been International PR Manager.
In South Carolina, Visit Aiken has appointed Eric Gordon as the city’s new Tourism Manager. Gordon founded the New York-based tourism company Beyond Times Square in 2003, sold in 2017.
Logan Doctson recently re-joined Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau as Public Relations Specialist. She had previously served as Public Relations Coordinator in 2019-2020.
In Oregon, Taste Newberg has appointed Leigh Jensen as Executive Director, replacing Leslie Caldwell, who is retiring. Jensen worked for 12 years as Chief Operations Officer at Southern California’s Visit Temecula Valley.
In California, Lisa Nottingham has joined Visit Rancho Cordova as Sales Coordinator. She had been with Visit Sacramento for 14+ years through mid-2020.
Tourism Economics has announced the promotion of Kaitlin DiPaola to Head of Destination Studies. She joined the organization as Economist in 2016.
Taisa Veras is now the Managing Director, Buyer Marketing at Dallas Market Center, the large wholesale merchandise resource that hosts 50+ markets attended by more than 200,000 buyers annually. She had been Director of Social Media & Influencer Marketing with NYC & Company for 3.5 years through mid-2020.
Hawaii’s Department of Business, Economic Development, and Tourism (DBEDT) is issuing this Request for Proposals (“RFP”) for Syndicated Tourism Survey Services for Fiscal Years 2023- 2025.
