Nice one, #flymsy — That’s New Orleans in IATA airport code.
J.D. Power has released its 2021 North America Airport Satisfaction Study. Now in its 16th year, the latest survey was conducted among 13,000 U.S. and Canadian travelers during the *pandemic* period, August 2020 through July 2021.
The survey analyzed mega-sized airports (33 million or more passengers per year) and large airports (10 to 32.9 million passengers per year). Medium-sized airports were not included due to low passenger volumes affected by Covid-19. The survey was based on six key factors of passenger satisfaction:
- terminal facilities
- airport arrival/departure
- baggage claim
- security check
- check-in/baggage check
- food, beverage, retail
