Why use Google maps when your shoes know the way? EasyJet’s “smart shoes” have built-in vibrating sensors to direct wearers: To mark a left turn, the left shoe vibrates; a vibrating right shoe instructs the wearer to turn right. Because Sneakairs are equipped with Bluetooth technology and are linked to a phone’s GPS, your phone can stay in your pocket.
The shoes are currently in testing in Barcelona. No word yet on color options beyond that easyJet signature orange. Check it out here.
